It... Wasn't. Had one of these and the end result was one of my Subaru sweaters torn to all hell.

And do be wary about these machines when your clothes come out smelling all "moldy" - the end result of soap sud buildup hidden behind the two agitators.

What the holy hell. Looks like the face of a squid as it tries to devour you. I actually feel sad for your clothe. Although I still hate vertical agitators (that are nothing but plastic drill bits for your clothes) even more. Front load for the win.

I'm more of a front loader but TBH, the washers of yesteryear (Think 1960 and back) had it down.
